DBM Putty

Demineralized Bone Matrix (DBM) is an allograft bone that has been processed to remove inorganic minerals, primarily calcium, while retaining growth factors and exposing biologically active bone morphogenic proteins (BMPs) that promote osteoinductive properties. Osteoinductive and osteoconductive potential of DBM allows for the formation of healthy, high-quality new bone through growth-factor mediated differentiation. Its combination with a liquid carrier provides enhanced handling properties, and DFDBA (Demineralized Freeze-Dried Bone Allograft) refers to the bone powder before this combination process.
